I made this painting to brighten up my dark and narrow stairwell to the upper floor of my house. There is a window in the landing adjacent to the wall it hung on, and it illuminated the painting perfectly. I made a magnificent maple frame for it, and the grain glimmered in the sunlight. Every time used the stairs, it was an experience instead of a chore. In the morning, the bright blue hues charged me with joy. In the evening, the faint hanging starlight enchanted me. The painting pulled at me every time I walked by it. I tried to paint another one just like it, and it didn’t even come close… Only one person will end up with the original. I wont be mad if it ends up just being me, and I will only make so many prints.
This is an 18×24” print of Lux on premium matte paper. I make these prints to order so the processing time before shipment will be longer than usual.
